
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp ground ground flax + 6 tbsp water
- 1.5 cup black beans (15oz can black beans rinsed and drained)
- ½ cup Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Dark Cocoa Powder
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup chopped macadamia nuts – or other nuts of choice
Optional toppings – coconut cream, fruit, flaky salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F
- Grease or line a 8 x 8 inch baking tin
- Add all the ingredient except the dark chocolate and nuts into a food processor and blend until combined and smooth. Scrape down the sides of the food processor as needed.
- Add in the chopped chocolate and pulse blend a couple times to incorporate the chocolate into the batter.
- Mix in any nuts
- Transfer brownie batter into baking pan. Using a spatula, smooth out the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Allow it to cool for 15 minutes before removing from baking pan. Place on cooling rack and cut into sliced when completely cooled.
