Let’s Talk Burgers

What’s on the Menu? lets talk burgers! Burgers are an easy go to, a fast food #1. Burger King has the Whopper and Five Guys has a cheese burger, White Castle has sliders, McDonalds has the hamburger Happy Meal! What if you want a great tasting option that is not meat, not black beans, and not a frozen mystery veggie patty?

One of my favorites and easier then ordering at a drive through is just a large portobello mushroom cap! Just wash, toss into a frying pan with a little bit of veggie broth and a little dash of liquid smoke, salt and pepper, cook for about 3 minutes on each side or until your own desired texture. Put on a bun with all your favorite toppings and eat!

2 grams of Fiber
3 grams of Protein
.4 mg of Iron

And… No Fat!

Compare this to a Whopper and you will be eating approximately 630 calories less, 50 less carbohydrates, and 37 grams less fat. You wont get 12 grams of sugar or 87 mg of Cholesterol! 🤔
