One of the best things about Dragon Fruit is fiber! These babies have 7 grams of fiber per cup! That is amazing when you consider that 97% of the US population is fiber deficient. Soluble Fiber can slow the absorption of sugar and help improve blood sugar levels!
A healthy high fiber diet may help to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes! That sure sounds like a great reason to include some dragon fruit to me!
